issues with cranking

I have a 400HP FiTech Go Street EFI on my 1954 F100 with a 302.  I have always had issues cranking, where I have to turn the key to prime then turn it off, turn it back on to prime a second time, then crank.  I have tried adjusting the "prime fuel multi" as well as crank fuels at different temperatures with no luck.  I increased the prime fuel to the point that i was getting hyrdro lock when the engine was hot.

Messing with this thing is like a foreign language to me to the point where I wish I would have stayed with the Carb..

 

What setting do I adjust to work this in and in what increments?
