I recently installed my new easy street 600hp on a fresh 454 with an hei fitted with a flamethrower kit and initial timing of about 8 deg initial and a total of 32 deg in a 1963 chevy bel air. I have the tanks fuel tank with the walbro 255lph pump kit. I have only had the kit installed for a few weekends and have only driven around the block a few times, but drove further today. Everything seemed fine but on my way back it would sound like it was popping through the air cleaner fairly loud. I took the air cleaner off and restarted and it would make a loud almost popping sound and a little bit of fuel would blow out of the passenger front throttle plate each time. The only error code I see is p1000 which I dont believe is anything. I checked for vacuum leaks, ignition issues etc. And dont understand what's going on. Any advise?
