Probe both sides of the bulkhead connector. Make sure power is going through on switched circuit.

According to the instructions on the handheld the power for the handheld comes through the 1.7 mm power jack. That power comes through the ecu from the battery, so I think its probably a bad ecu! Hopefully not but I think I would be contacting fitech.

Quote from Bigg Daddy on August 24, 2019, 8:32 pmI am having the same issue, i rewired everything. I get it to run intermittent. Austin what do you mean by bulkhead. I have tested each wire on both side of the fuses. my pump turns on. I have a tach signal I have separated all the wires away from spark pug wires to make sure there is no interference. I have ran 2 separate grounds to the carb studs . the vehicle runs off of carb cleaner.
when I turn it over if it does not do the prime spray when i hit the key it does not run.
if it prime sprays it starts and runs.
I saw a post somewhere about some guys removing the cover and grounding the ECU but have not found any instructions on it.
this car ran perfectly on the carb and now it doesn't run and has been towed home the one time it did.

Many engines will run on engines that will have difficulty with EFI. Carbs are forgiving with vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, poor tuning and improper electrical. EFI, not so much.
Without seeing you vehicle, I would start here. Fitech 12v directly to the battery. Grounds, 2ga battery to block, 10ga battery to frame, 10ga battery to body. Make sure white wire stays over 11v with key on and crank. Verify fuel pressure, 43psi for 400 and Meanstreet units, 58psi on all others.

I have nearly the same issue. No Handheld starting up if I turn ignition on. No fuel pump. I only can hear the IAC doing something.
Tryed this:
ground the TBI
put white wire direct to the Batterie.
nothing helped.
Tell me please, if you have found a solution.

Battery wire hooked directly to battery? Battery fully charged?
