Quote from loz65panel on June 20, 2019, 9:39 amim having a problem with my idle, stays high for about 4 seconds. tried playing with iac, but no luck. have it set at 650. goes as high as 11oo, stays there for a couple of seconds then comes down. also makes the throttle make a loud sucking air sound. anyone got any ideas?

Quote from Deleted user on June 20, 2019, 10:41 amSounds like IAC settings.
Does this happen when you stop or put into park? If so go into the idle control menu in pro tuning. Increase the value in the "Loop Down". It may be IAC menu, can't remember the name......

Quote from loz65panel on June 20, 2019, 11:47 amit seems to happen when i come off the throttle. get annoying when ur in a parking, tap the throttle and the idles "hangs" make the truck lurch forward. then the throttle body makes a loud sucking sound, then goes normal in a couple off seconds. been messing with iac settings, but no luck yet.

Quote from loz65panel on June 21, 2019, 12:14 pmso I tried your idea with the loop down rate, and it didnt work. i also tried to work with the iac, no luck. i went up and down with the values, helped very little. got any other ideas? I also tried the values on the decel, no luck there either.

Quote from Deleted user on June 21, 2019, 11:15 pmI have no idea now. You have changed so much stuff.....
I want you to watch the data when the idle hangs. Specifically the IAC steps. If the steps are going down in sync with your RPM, then the problem is the loop rate down on IAC. Now, if you have changed other stuff, then no telling what your system is doing.
This is a common issue that is easily fixed. Either you have changed too many settings or I am not understanding your issue.
