Help with tuning
Quote from jakedempsey on April 5, 2020, 1:59 pmI recently purchased a 1978 K5 Blazer which has a 350 and already had a FiTech 400 Go Street installed. I had some wiring issues when I first got the vehicle that have since been resolved (related to radiator fans). I have also replaced the temp sensor with the AC Delco unit. The coolant temp is still 20-30 degrees below the sending unit in the head. I know that FiTech needs to be above 170 so its not in enrichment mode. It has been above that temp even with the sending unit in the intake manifold.
I upgraded the software from 195 to 198. I also saw a fault on injector 4 and after I pulled it I found it was completely dead. Installed new injector. After installing the new injector I have done a reset learn and tried a few configurations.
I tried to run the car on cam 2 settings but the AFR learn would peg down to -35.2%. The car was super rich. I then did a full learn reset again and used cam 3 settings. My AFR learn hovers around -20% and trim bounces from -3 to 4.
I've uploaded a 30 second idle log here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sMWVrtNAgVbZbulF9LbOxtXy9IZCI_1E/view?usp=sharing
I've gone out on two good drives on this setting and hoping to have someone give it a look to see if it looks good. I do see a 105 fault being triggered intermittently in the log file but not sure if that means the 02 sensor needs replacing or is normal since its intermittent.

I't looks like that came with a 14x4 filter but the current filter in the car is a 14x2. Thinking the smaller filter 'could' be causing the engine to not get enough air right?

The only thing I noticed was your TPS at .5 Not too big of a deal, but it should go to zero after turning off engine, waiting about 30 sec, and firing back up. Certainly doesn't hurt getting the correct filter for the cleaner. Cam 3 seems about right for just 12 inches Hg idle vacuum.
