How to replace your injectors
Quote from 1972Mach1 on July 26, 2019, 3:55 pmJust got done replacing a bad injector on my 30001 600 hp throttle body, just thought I'd share a couple pics and let guys know how to do it. It's really easy, they made it a breeze. All you need to do is remove the two allen head screws holding your side cover/fuel rail on and pull up and out at the same time. It looks like you need to remove part of the throttle linkage, but you do not. To disconnect the injector from the connector, just get a small flat blade and carefully pry the harness out of the injector, as they are only held in by friction. When re-installing, lube the o-rings with a little grease (I use dielectric), insert the injector into the fuel rail/side cover, and then carefully put them back into the throttle body. Be careful not to ding the end of the injectors putting them back in. Tighten down the screws, and voila! Done deal. You don't need to remove the unit from your vehicle like I had, but I needed to race my truck in a couple autocrosses so I had swapped back to carb for a couple weeks.

Ive screwed with every setting known to man with Fitech before they finally replaced mine- going to install today but want to make sure it’s got the best chance of success. THX

Can't remember the size of the allen, but I'd venture it's a 5 or 6mm head. No recalibration or anything needed on just an injector replacement, it doesn't know you put a new part in there. My whole system went back to FiTech and they're sending me a different throttle body set up after all my issues.
