i need help with Holley 12-800 fuel pump settimgs

Can anyone advise me on fiTech go street 400 settings using a holley 12-800 pump? pump rpm, PWM or not. what fuel pressure should i see at the inlet of the Throttle body, and any other guidance you can give.

Thanks

First check with Holly if the pump supports PWM as the specs dont state it does. Once you know that, I can give you setting to use on the hand held. Also most importantly, use a relay to provide power to the pump as it's Max Draw is 14 amps and Fitech supports 15amps. Use the fitech to trigger the relay for the fuel pump. I am finding using the Fitech to drive the fuel pump directly, kills the ECU due to power hungry fuel pumps. The only pumps that work fine are the Walbro intank pumps as the max draw is only 9 amps, which is well below the 15 amps max Fitech can drive. But even than, use a relay anyways, as the components on the ECU such as the relays are China made junk and specs on the relay's are questionable.

it does not support PWM, pump pressure is 60 psi @ 10-14vdc

I checked with Holley, the pump  is not P.W.M. compatible, it's output is 60 psi at 12 to 16vdc. I have a Holley external regulator 12-846 which is 15 to 60psi, so a couple questions, first the settings to turn off P.W.M? pressure to set the regulator for a 400hp go street? and I would like to remove the FiTech internal regulator (can I make a simple plug with an O.D.  o-ring seal, not like the red FiTech Plug which blocks off both inner and outer passages, I assume the return port is plugged using the FiTech plug)  and put the regulator behind the return port of the FiTech (between the injector body and the return Line) and specifics on settings/wiring for the external Relay ( GM fuel pump weather pack Relay)

Thanks

First, you cant turn off PWM on the Fitech. This is the work around.  Go to Fuel Pump Control in the Pro tuning section and change the PWM Low Flow, PWM Mid Flow, and PWM High Flow to 100 %  Also volts for pump on change that from 9 to 19. This makes the pump system turn on no matter what and actually takes the PWM load off the circuit. BUT I CANT STRESS ENOUGH TO USE A EXTERNAL RELAY TO PROVIDE POWER TO THE PUMP!!!!! Use the Fitech to trigger the relay. If your dont do this, YOU WILL KILL THE ECU!!!!!  Fitech ECU's fail due to cheap Chinese components, such as the relays, which provide power to your Pump. Fitech states it can drive up to 15 amps, but I question that, do to failing ECU's  Lastly a external fuel pressure regulator is not necessary as the one FiTech uses work fine and generally doesn't give users issues. But your real biggest issue is using a inline Fuel Pump, which generally fail. I only recommend a intank pump from Walbro as it is Made in the USA and the gas keeps the pump cool and they have low current draw. Do Not use Chinese made pumps, they will leave you stranded at the side of the road.
