installing FiTech Ultimate LS 750HP in my 1970 RS Camaro

I have a 'real' 1970 RS Camaro.

 

LQ4  6.0L

Trick flow fast as cast Gen-X 220 heads

Howards Cam (P/N 196765-12)   @.05  228 intake|234exhaust    .604" intake | .609" exhaust   112 LSA

Yella Terra YT6645 Ultralight roller rocker arms

Hooker Super Comp Headers  ( P/N 2201)

 

 

Last week I started having a lifter issue where cylinder #1 was registering misfires.   I took this as an opportunity to do upgrades.

 

Changes I am making at this time.

1. I had a dirty dingo accessory brackets.  they always had a squeal from alignment not being great.  I have now purchased the Holley wide mount accessory brackets and new accessories.

2. LS6 intake with fast 36lb injectors w/ Holley fuel rails.

3. Factory 76mm throttle body

 

I replaced all the lifters, and am in the process of installing a FiTech Ultimate LS750 w/Transmission control into my Camaro.

 

 

 

 

I have purchased FiTech Ultimate LS750 w/Transmission kit.  I am in the process of the FiTech install this weekend and hope to be starting my car very soon.

The FiTech 70004 is what I am putting on.   So I have the new 102mm TB

Unfortunately, my wife has easter plans for me now and tomorrow we will on a boat in Tampa Bay fishing all day so Monday is the next time I get to work on it.

I need to connect the return fuel line, connect power steering hi-pressure and low-pressure lines.   run new vacuum line from bottom of manifold to power brake booster.   mount accessory bracket for A/C, get A/C connected and charged.

I have power line from fuel pump run but now need to connect the rest of the wires inside the car.

it's getting close.

ok. I have it together..   do the initial setup..  364ci,   54lb injectors stage 3 cam,  24x, etc..

 

it cranks over fast and what appears a compression stroke comes and it slows way down on cranking then speeds up.. but never fires over.    I do see  RPM's registering on the handheld

I have a generic fuel pressure gauge.. it shows 55lbs.     the fuel pump is 2-month-old Aeromotive 340 stealth that was providing fuel to the LS2 before I switched over to the FiTech and it worked great previously.

next steps, check to see if I am getting spark.

Check the LS section.  These issues have been solved before.

ok.. I have the car up and running but need to get the settings in the fitech done now.   for instance,  my fan's are not coming on at set temperature.  not sure why,  and am investigating.
