Need F body- LS1 accessory drive alternator for 70050 that'll work?

I'm going to install my Fitech 70050 on an iron LS3 and need to know whether a F body/LS1 98-02 alternator is compatible  with this system? From my online research it seems that the LS1 uses a 1 wire alternator hook up as opposed to the 04-05 Chev pickup that uses a 2 wire system thats been recommended here:

I need to figure this out cause I'm running the low mount 98-02 F body accessory drive spacing. I know Powermaster has a bunch of alternators but if I get no help her I'll try them.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Your alternator needs to have this four pin socket on it. Very common GM alternator from the late 1990's to the late 2000's.

The Fitech harness has only one wire into the alternator plug, that's all that's needed.

I would suggest you use an AD244 alternator, they're very robust and can be had in stock form up to 160 amps, or 200 or more from alternator builders such as Powermaster.

Paul thanks for your response. I have the F body-LS1 ICT accessory drive brackets that place the alternator down low. I already have an alternator from a 02 Camaro that I'm going to try. Powermaster said that all Gm alternators up to 05 are the same plug in, I'll try the one I have and if it doesn't work out I get the powermaster 8206.

The Fitech plug has a red wire that is the alternator/ generator turn on signal. Not sure about the other wire.
