I dropped and broke my "old style" (60013) handheld unit. Can anyone tell me the benefit(s) of the "new style" (62013) over the old style.  Note: I know the new style costs ~$50.oo more AND requires a different cable(~$50.00). It is not just the $100.00 extra cost  but I have routed the cable from the t/b through the firewall and don't want to re-do that task if possible.

Is there any benefit for tuning etc. with the new vs old that would justify the extra cost and work?
