Hi all.

I recently purchased a car with the Fitech GOefo 400hp setup.

Im struggling with WOT and have played with the fast acel pump settings but it hasn't really sorted much, through 2nd and 3rd gear (3 speed manual)

I have 2 questions -

  1. Software updates - How do i get the latest update?
  2. I have a few logs with a few changes i have made that show a little improvement, but i can't overcome the bog down, unless i release the throttle and gradually depress. Where do i upload the logs to try to resolve the issue.

Cheers

Lee

Is it going rich or lean during the bog?  Billk

Its going lean but i have setup the acel and fast pump settings to max just to try to narrow down where the issue and its still lean on a heavy throttle. At about 3000-3500rpm is the max rev in second gear unless i take my foot off and gradually depress.

I have read its a common issue, but have not really found how its resolved as i have played with the acel and fast acel settings which helps a bit but does not remove the big bog down

Maybe try richening the afr targets.

Look here for some help,

Awesome thank you so much. I was also going to start potentially playing with the dTPS ACC gain and max settings. Would this be something i should also consider after making chnages to the baseline AFR, testing and depending on the results, try this?

I have not messed with the dTPS ACC gain and max settings so I cannot comment on that.  Maybe someone else will. Billk

What cam setting are you using and what is your vacuum at idle?

I had a similar problem and after tweaking for a long time I improved it but never got it to work perfect. Then I change my cam setting from 3 to 2 and after letting it learn on its own it worked like a charm. That said, you may want to try changing the cam setting to see if it gets better, but you will have to let it learn for a few miles.

Yes i have cam setting at 3. I might try change to 2.

Do you know if its true that the fitech system will only self learn when temp is greater than 170f? If so it will impossible for my system to learn as it doesn't get above 130F and in traffic it might see 170f

Your temp sensor is probably faulty.  There is a rash of bad temp sensors included in the kits.  Yes the temp has to be up to, I think,  170.  If you are running at 130 you are hurting your engine.  Check with a temp gun at the thermostat housing.  Your engine could be operating at a correct temp but the Fitech doesn't know it.  What is the temp setting of your thermostat?

Nope I have an external temp gauge and its reading 70-80C on highway, its winter where i am. Will need to download logs when i get into car again and confirm external gauge temp versus fitech temp on next run. This might just be the issue...thanks so much
