New to Mean street and Command Center 2.0
Quote from JasonL on October 2, 2018, 11:55 amOK where do I start? I have a couple issues that I think we are getting close but just want to confirm for tonight when I get home from work.
Installed Mean Street with CC 2.0 last night.
-White wire is tapped into pink ignition wire on HEI and key on 12 Volts, key turned to run/start drops to about 10 volts or so
-Didn't get a tach signal on hand held but I will hook the blue wire up directly to distributor tonight and test again.
-Fuel flows through the return line almost constantly while trying to get it running is this normal? For testing purposes I have the return line running into a gas can until I know I have everything correct.
From what I have read and been told that my main issue of the car starting then stopping is that the system is not seeing a tach signal and the system saying to stop sending fuel. So I will try and hook the tach up directly to get it working and then work on hooking up the factory tach in the car after. As far as the white wire goes I was told even if the volts drop it is still ok since there is still power going to the CC. Fitech tech seems to think it has everything to do with the tach wire so I will go that route. But what is also making me wonder is the return line from the CC to the tank will there always be flow from the CC to the tank?
I am sorry if I am all over the board but in my head it all makes sense lol.
By the way the system is being installed into a 1977 Pontiac Trans AM. has a 1971 455HO.
