No Datalog
Quote from 65sohc on September 12, 2019, 6:39 pmI tried my first datalog today. The issue I am trying to address with a log is on light throttle the engine flattening out from 2500 to 3000. So in normal traffic in the lower gears acceleration starts normally and then in that range falls off as if I backed off the throttle. I logged on, drove a few miles and then logged off. When I plugged the handheld into my desktop and opened up the dashboard it said the file was empty and there was no datalog. What am I doing wrong?

It turns out, if you delete all the .csv files in the DashBoard directory, without deleting the DashBoard directory, it doesn't know where to put the log files. If you delete the DashBoard directory, it will create the DashBoard directory and put in the csv log file in there. So, the moral of the story is, if you need to clear out all the DashBoard directory log files, also delete the DashBoard directory.
