Reloading a tune after ECU replacement
Quote from 7.4 4x4 on December 15, 2025, 4:02 pmHad my ECU go bad after about 6 years, sent it in and had it replaced. One week turnaround from me mailing it off until it was back in my hand. Customer service is improving! The question is, after doing the initial setup entries, can I just load my old tune that I saved to an SD card and start there? If not, can I use something to read the tune and enter the parameters by hand in the new CPU? It was running great using the tune I saved, I don't want to change anthing right now..So how do I get that file saved on the TB and working?

You have to manually re-enter them if you had remembered to right them down. Otherwise you can let the self tuning adjust the values as you drive.
