I was having intermittent RPM noise (code 36) and poor running with misfiring and very rich mixtures for quite a while after installation. RPM readings were  sometimes ok, sometimes all over the place on datalog. The car had previously been OK on carbs.

Cleaned plugs/leads cap etc,  shielded harness wires, put in extra earth wires, disconnected tachometer etc etc, no improvement.

Replaced the (aftermarket unbranded ) magnetic ignition module with a Pertronix ignitor 2, and it now runs perfectly.

1973 Triumph Stag 3 Litre V8, standard apart from Fitech 30003 and electronic ignition.
