run a few seconds and then shut off
confusing problem just happened.
I jumped in the Camaro with the 70004 Ultimate LS install being complete and took it for a drive. 10 miles into the drive the idle would not come below 1150RPM's and while in Drive the car would continue a steady 35-40MPH down the road. I pulled over and as I suspected a few vacuum caps came off the underbelly of the manifold. I drove the car home and this morning I put new vacuum caps over those ports and then started the car.
Once started it ran for a few seconds and died. I did this 2-3 times and decided to reset the handheld and reconfigured with my specfics. It fired up and ran for 30 seconds or so and now wont stay started for more than 5 seconds.
Any advise?
Does it shut off like you shut the key off or does it load up and flood?
it would just power down... I called tech support and Bryan helped me. Just reset the system again and it started running.
I let it run for around 5 minutes and when it got up to temp it shut down again. This time the fuel pump relays start clicking and the fuel pump is fast starting and stopping... the hand held no longer connects to the computer. I checked the power and grounds and all was good. 🙁
