Software update and IAC steps

Page 1 of 2Next

Would like to know how I could determine if my software is up to date. I have been having a hard time setting my IAC steps. Ive followed all recommendations and procedures. Everything runs fine but cant seem to get the number lower than 90. Thanks

I need more details.  Engine, cam, cam setting, Fitech model, etc.....

Chevy 350. Dont know cam size but it sounds healthy. Current setting at 3. I have the 34002 EFI system. Im currently running 14.5 AFR. truck runs and sounds great.

What is your vacuum at idle and operating temp.

Operating temp 190. 8 to 10 vacuum 850 rpm

Cam 3 may be ok, not sure.  Can you post a 30 second idle datalog at operating temperature.  Can't post directly.  Must provide a Dropbox or Cloud link.

Ill try to post one

This is the most recent data log.

Log is looking fairly good.  Do you have 18in or more of exhaust past the O2 sensor.  If not, get that fixed first.  No exhaust will cause bad sensor readings.

If you warm the engine up and then shut off, turn the idle screw in (clockwise) 1/4 turn, start engine, what happens?

Yes  I have 18in of exhaust. When I turn idle screw little or no change happens. I have turned screw in quite a bit before I stopped. Thanks for you help by the way.
