tranny not shifting at WOT

I pushed the go pedal to the floor and the rev limiter shut it down before it shifted. Running an LQ4 with an 4L80e out of a van.

What is everyone setting the REV limiter to?

What about the stall setting?

Just got my go shift in the mail.  Build a 4L60 in a few weeks for the 67 c10.  Would like to help, but have no experience with the system yet.  I have been told that the default program works fairly well without adjustment.  Issues come from wrong selections or install.

works great under normal driving, just didnt want to shift at WOT

Set your rev limit above your shift point.    This fixed it for me.

 

 

Example:   rev limit 7,000

 

shift point 6500RPM 1-2    6250 2-3   5900 3-4

I'm no expert but i would guess rev limit is set to what your valve train can handle in my case with a comp 54-456-11 cam 6700 it the top end on the camp. going much past that could cause valve float, loss of power and possible engine damage.
