1 injector not firing

Found the cause of my wideband issue being a corroded connector on the sensor.....now for my real running issue. My front drivers side injector isn't firing at all. I tried a search and didn't find anything. Is this a known issue? Got to think it isn't as I didn't see anything in it. Is there a test I can do on them to see if there's an open or voltage in the wiring to that particular injector or an ohm test for it? Thanks for your time.

Called Fitech customer service on my break, got through in about 2 minutes, and spoke to Anthony.  Explained I've got 1 injector not firing, he checked my name, and got a new one sent out, no questions asked.  Super impressed.  Said about the only diag a guy can do is the common sense switch injectors in position and see if it follows.  Knew I was under warranty so I didn't want to "break the seal" so to speak, but sounds like that would've been ok to do.

What fuel filter are you running?

There have been many issues with filtration not being adequate.  And not from the user.  Manufacturers overestimate their filter micron, quality and capacity.  I run GM factory style EFI filters.  Not pretty looking, but I am looking for proper results.  I have yet to have injector issues and can't remember the last time I changed the filter.  I have been told they are rated at 10 micron.

Sorry it took me a while to check back on this thread.  First of all, I'm running a Command Center 2 so that makes my set up a little different but I've got 2 basic little NAPA inline filters, one between the tank and mechanical pump, the other between pump and the Command Center.  After that I've to the one Fitech sent with the kit between the Command Center and throttle body.  I run Non-Ethanol 91 octane, which is what I run in all my hot rods here, all from the same gas station.  Just weird it died.  The other 3 injectors are spraying a nice pattern.   According to Fedex I should have my injector Monday.  Swapped the truck back to carb so I'm driving it still, which is one nice thing about using the CC2.  Swapping back and forth from EFI to carb literally takes about 15 minutes, and when I go on long road trips like my planned Pacific Coast Highway trip next year I'll just take one of my spare carbs with me "just in case" 🙂
