1988 Jeep Wrangler 6.0L
I have a 1988 Jeep Wrangler (YJ).
Reinforced the roll bar into a cage, tied to the frame. Has a spring over axle conversion, GM 10bolt axles with Eaton Truetrac locker in rear and Eaton Elocker in front. 4.88 gears and 35" General Grabber X3 Tires. Disc brakes at all corners.
GM TH350 transmission with 1800 stall converter and NP205 twin stick transfer case. Tom Woods drive shafts with 1350 u-joints.
High Steer kit from WFO and hydro assist from PSC.
2003 LQ4 6.0L donor from a Hummer H2, freshened up with a 10 qt oil pan, Ultimate Ls kit, and BTR stage 3 truck cam (239/254 .631"/.610" 114+3.)
Custom built headers, through to the exhaust tips.
Leash Electronics Pro relay board.
I am in the process of wiring right now. All the pics I have are of an incomplete project so bare with me I will update as I make progress which has been quite slow lately.
I know she's not pretty, this is a function over form build.
