Quote from wesblake on December 2, 2025, 5:27 pmOMG!!! Thank you so much for the help, after 1 year it finally works an all because of 1 wire. So, I have a ready to run distributor, I followed Fitech's instructions to a T thinking that was the way to go. For a ready-to-run they put the tach wire to the negative terminal of the coil. WRONG! I have a 4th dedicated tach wire coming from my distributor. After you pointed out rpm's being the issue, I moved from negative coil to that wire and wallah! I even confirmed with Fitech that's how I should do it at the time, ugh.
So now she's running so great, but should I reset anything like learn then? I mean, it worked until 3k before so does it just keep learning from here?

As for what Fitech told you, they were correct. It is impossible to know every combination of every aftermarket part. Glad you found it. Enjoy. Keep us updated.
I recently started a Facebook group called Fitech University. It will tie with this website and more, as I can develop.
