Hey guys, I am new to the site. And new to the FiTech system as well. Just ordered it, will be installing Saturday.
I went with the FiTech Easy Street 600 HP. Needing some advice or experienced thoughts.
I have an A1000 system currently with a 13204 carb bypass regulator. I will probably switch that over to run my nitrous system once the FiTech is in place.
So I have read conflicting things about using the A1000 with the FiTech units, some saying they have used the A1000/FiTech with no external regulator and had no issues, others saying you absolutely need the return style regulator with the FiTech. Has anyone here run without the external regulator and had no issues?
Needing to know asap whether I have to order the external regulator, but I don't want to waste the money if it isn't needed since the FiTech and BBK Long Tubes took a chunk out of the ole wallet.

Sounds like I’m good then...
Where did you find that info?! I swear I searched, but I found a tech answer from FiTech saying that the A1000 specifically couldn’t be used with the FiTech and required an external regulator!

Also I have a MASSIVE return line, since the old system used an A1000 on a Holley 700 Double Pumper. I assume there would be no bad effect from over sizing the return line?
Pretty sure I have a 5/8” return on there, -8 AN from regulator to 5/8”, then -8 fitting down to -6 AN to go into the fuel tank...I had to use what I could get/do in a time constraint a couple years back. Not perfect but I never experienced any issues from it “clogging up”.

Called Aeromotive, pump is way too much. The gent on the phone was familiar with the unit. I ran my idea past him and he wasn’t sure it’d work...but intuitively it makes sense to me. Give me your thoughts please...
Fuel runs from rank through filter, pump, another filter, then through -10 AN Line to front where it connects to ‘Y’ block from Aero.. one side is now capped.
Other side runs to Aero. 13204 bypass regulator. This is set to 6 PSI. The 3/8” hose runs to the nitrous system.
The “return” line from the 13204 runs to the INLET port of a 13129 Aero. EFI bypass regulator. This is set to 58 PSI. The outlet line is run to the FiTech system.
Everything is lining up in my head for doing it this way. I only need a 13129 regulator and maybe a few AN fittings. I get to use all of my current setup plus that single regulator. Pic of hasty drawing of plans attached.
Thoughts?

Gotcha. Well the help/research is much appreciated.
I am looking at switching the two regulators around btw. It occurred to me that the smaller one needs to be after so that the fuel doesn’t get “clogged” by the bigger regulator and “back up” the smaller.
Ill report back with results once the system is installed.
