AFR Freezing
Quote from Poncho on January 29, 2018, 2:22 pmMy AFR reading is freezing up at 14.7. Seems the only way to fix it, is shit it off and wait a bit. Once I restart it, it fluctuates with throttle as it should. Any ideas?

Quote from Poncho on January 29, 2018, 4:23 pmI'll have to look at those readings. Never paid attention. The unit is grounded to the battery.

Quote from Speargun on August 11, 2018, 7:59 pmI have the same issue. Sometimes it freezes at start up and other times it's while I'm driving down the road. It usually corrects itself after several miles or several stop/start cycles. I replaced the O2 sensor and still get the random AFR lock up.
It's done at startup and when the temps are 180-200, voltage good, good grounds, etc. Runs great other than when it randomly freezes.

Quote from Deleted user on August 12, 2018, 9:39 pmI wonder if you are getting electrical interference. Try moving your blue wire and/or shielding it. Datalog would help.

Quote from Speargun on August 15, 2018, 11:25 amI just noticed an RPM Noise fault.
I'll work on that & see if it fixes the problem.

Quote from Speargun on September 1, 2018, 8:31 amI bought some steel braided sleeve from Amazon, installed it over the tach wire, and grounded one end. So far, no more AFR freezing.
