Alternator wiring
Hey guys im new here. This is my first post. I have a 69 Malibu with an LS1 and im running the Ultimate LS injection 500hp kit. I have been working on the install of the system and other wiring on and off for about a week. Ive been watching some videos about install tips and i saw someone talking about having troubles with blowing alternators because of differences in the wiring requirements for different alternators. I have an 02 camaro LS1 but im running accessories from an 06 GTO. However i had to change out the alternator for a physically smaller one and am now using the 98 camaro LS1 alternator. The plug thats on the fitech harness went right on, but im concerned if the terminals are wired correctly. I cant afford to just go replacing alternators untill I figure it out. Is this even a thing or am i worried about nothing...?
Also does someone have a full wiring diagram for this system, i have been unsuccessful in finding one.
