Bad Mistake, shorted ECU
Quote from Bill on September 24, 2020, 7:22 pmI think I shorted something out.
Disconnected battery.
Trying to figure out my cooling fans.
Long story short, was using an external battery to test the cooling fans.
Ended up blowing the fuse for the fan relay. I think I fed 12+ the wrong way into the yellow fan wire. Now, when I hook up the battery to the car the fans immediately come on and the car will not start. Cranks but no start. Was running fine before I did this.

Need to run that to the ground side of the relay, so it switches higher current to the fan. I'm not sure what damage was done.
