below 2000 rpm I get stumble and back fire thru throttle body
Quote from jimmywaldo on August 19, 2019, 10:27 pmUnder load and below 2000 rpm I get stumble and back fire thru throttle body. New to this. I thought the self learn could correct. I drove for about 50 miles, car runs good above 2000 rpm. at 60 mph car turns 1600 rpm and if you give it throttle it stumbles and back fires. I tried logging not sure what I have. I don't know how to upload log

There are many posts of how to use the dropbox on here just search it out.

Quote from jimmywaldo on August 23, 2019, 9:07 pmWent back to drawing board. Still working on it. Waiting on parts to arrive.
found an exhaust leak. waiting on new gaskets
Throttle was only opening TB about half way, if that far. Reworked peddle and now get full throttle
Can't start it right now valve cover were leaking a little. Have them off and waiting for gaskets
I rewired the key on (white wire) to a separate relay, power comes direct from battery. I was losing the 12 volts with key in start. the switch was wired wrong. Now have it wire correct. I had the engine built by a speed shop and they wouldn't give me the specs on the cam. Put a vacuum gauge on it, only have 5 " at idle. Have checked and double checked for vacuum leaks. Changed the initial setup for cam to #4. Before I pulled valve covers, it starts and idles great. IAC step stays about 7 after it warms up.
I will update once I can get it back on the road. If still having problems I will do a data log.
Thanks
