Best In line pump replacement
Quote from Monaco67 on August 19, 2019, 2:34 pmHey All,
So so far my Fitech experiences are pretty bad, had this 30002 unit since March and my car hasn’t made a successful run yet past 20 miles. Long story short, I think I have come down to my issues being a 2nd bad in-line fuel pump and currently using the stock one that comes in the 600hp kit.
Today I set my PWM to 100% and finally was able to drive my car once my engine temps got warmed up, and with a couple of Accel changes, I no longer have hesitation, popping and stalling. My in line pressure gauge before was dropping to around 30psi when the car got warm and then almost zero at times when I was hard on the throttle, today it basically hovers at 45 down to maybe 35 when I’m really hard on it.
This all said, what would be the best aftermarket in-line pump that you would recommend? I’m done messing with the stock pump and a new one is 6 weeks away anyway, so I think I will bypass the PWM and just install a new pump with relay and a regulator, but so many options, I’d like to hear experiences.
Thanks, and thanks for letting me join

Quote from bdhulderman on August 20, 2019, 9:03 amIt's not the identical pump that fitech advertises, the one I got from summit racing is a 380 L/hr, not a 255. Never had any problem with this one. Good luck though with whatever you come up with. I run this one all the time and use my own pressure regulator to feed back to the tank, and avoid the PWM completely, because this pump is not designed for PWM according to the manufacturer.
