Cam selection? ford e303
I'm just hoping someone can suggest which cam selection would be my best guess to start out on. I'm on Cam-2 at the moment. I still have a lot of tuning to do, but the AFR Learn % just at idle is averaging -30% @ 880 rpm.
It's a ford E303 cam in a roller 302 with stock 1.6 rockers and ford GT40p heads on a Weiand Stealth intake.

Oh yeah.. and.. I'll re-check when I get home.. cuz I can't remeber exactly.. but I think i remember it pulling a pretty good vac at idle. 14-16 inHg if I remember. .. but.. I'll make sure.
Try cam 1 at that vacuum. Reminder, we go off of vacuum at idle and at operating temperature.

And yeah.. that was indeed at full operating temps.
Plugged in a vac gauge.. and she does indeed idle at 14-15 inHg.
I switched the cam to #1, so far everything seems fine still. My AFR Learns are all over the place, but I have a lot of initial "learn" driving to do still.
Let it learn awhile and datalog an idle log again.
