can get Fitech to start

I have a 351w with a hei distributor with a nice cam and headers. I purchased a Fitech go efi 600hp throttlebody, I've installed everything correct and getting the correct voltage, but I can't get it to start. I've read a lot of info on the cold start and start and the prime fuel mult ,crank open ups. I just need some numbers to get me in the ballpark. please im about ready to give up very discouraging .

I guess I would  look at the basics. Is it a new build, do I have spark, do I have fuel, the folks here on the forum will want more info to get you going.

Got to have at least 11 volts while you are in the act of cranking the engine over.  The starter takes a lot of current, and will reduce the voltage at your battery.  If you use a charger while cranking and it starts, that's your problem.  I actually put in a voltage meter under the dash that monitors the voltage right at the fitech power wire.  If it does go less than 11 volts, like mine did, I can show you what to put in to get your voltage higher.  You need a fuel gauge at the fitech fuel inlet, to see what the pressure is there.  It needs to be 58 psi I think it is on your unit.  Have someone be looking at the gauge while turning the engine over.  And like Ajax said, you need spark.  Check your plugs to make sure they are not fouled and the color looks good.  If they don't look good, clean them.  Then, if it still doesn't start, make sure the fitech is doing the prime shot a few seconds after key on.  You should be able to hear it click at the unit and see the squirt of fuel go in.  Another thing that can tell you something is if you just crack the throttle while cranking and it starts, that can be corrected also.

i would like to see what it is you are using to "up the voltage" at the ecm battery power ???

hi,'m new here, never done much forum stuffs here goes,,I have a 3005 easy street, had it running almost a year,,few weeks ago,,coughed, rev high, then low,,rich,,then lean,,checked wires,,cleaned battery cables,,no start,,called fitch, they said reprogram after every battery disconnect, did that,,double, triple checked fuel system, electrical, power on, off,,cranking,,checked rpm while cranking,,installed fuel pressure gauge, it's all good,,cleaned fuel lines, filter,,had a little in the filter,,has all the right readings,,has fuel,,will ruin with a squirt of gas down the throat,,,no click from injectors when ignition is turned on,,no squirt of gas,,always, a;ways cranked for about 8-10 seconds on cold starts,,warm, barely touch the key, and it fires right up,,till now,,

IS THERE ANYWAY TO TEST THE ECU?..OR THE NEXT STEP IS TO PULL THE INJECTORS AND CLEAN THE SCREENS??

Your ECU is bad. Very common issue with FiTech. Basically it is because of China made junk. Poorly made ECU's are a big issue. For me if my Fitech dies, I am going back to a carb until there is a reliable Throttle Body Injection unit on the market. Apparently the Holly is a better product.
