Car goes lean after putting in gear
Hey all,
I have the efi-go 400hp fitech system i just installed. I have 250 mile on it and now i have the problem of the car going lean after i put iti in gear. It idles fine as it shoulf with an AFR of 14 @ 800 rpm. As soon as i put the car in drive, the AFR goes 20 plus an stalls unless i quickly put it in neutral. need some help. Below are some logs. I didn't see any major issues with your Datalog. Never saw it go lean. Actually pretty stable. Fyi, always run datalogs once engine is at operating temperature. 170 or more
I have almost the same problem on a 3005. I have a manual. It will idle fine for as long as you want but evrey time I drive it it runs great for 1/4 to 5 miles then starts sputtering then dies. it will not restart even after it cools down. every once in awhile it will start, rev to around 200 then die. next day it starts fine and does the same thing. After having to tow is a few times Now I carry my carb with me. The AFR in the logs always goes to to 20.6 when this happens from first sputtering till death. Replaced header gaskets with all copper one and used 1/8 dead soft aluminum collector gaskets . no exhaust leaks it does sames thing. Got a fitech Force fuel sytem. no difference. there are no fault codes. Loaded factory cal and reset IAC ran it for 30 minutes in garage seemed fine. next day it will not start.
Ideas?
