Car wont idle, IAC fault Code and very intermittent rpm noise code 36

Ive got a 67 charger with a 318, been running fitech for years 5-6 plus very little to no issues or nothing that couldn’t be tuned out, but  today i went out to go for a drive and the car would not idle without my help on the gas pedal, could not hear the iac motor working,  checked my fault code and it said iac fault code, which kinda confirmed my suspicions, but at the same time noticed a very intermittent rpm noise code and when it would do that it would the run state would change from idle to crank which thought it was weird and the engine would stumble a little, but……. After letting the car idle for a few mins with my foot all of a sudden the iac motor kicked in and would idle great on its own. Took it on a hour drive no issues. Wondering if i should just replace the iac, but wondering what i should do about the intermittent rpm noise code. Was also thinking if  i swap out the iac i should do the temp sensor as well as mine has always been off but have learned to adapt lol, do you need to recalibrate anything when swapping sensors? I seen replacement part numbers on this forum which would be the parts I buy. Any help would be greatly appreciated- Josh

Try this first. Remove the IAC motor and clean it as it may be dirty with carbon build up which can bind the motor, and see if that helps. Use to have to do that in the 80's with my Plymouth Horizon which had throttle body Fuel Injection....
