Cold start
Hi all
Need help with cold starts on my 1200pa.
Had this issue last year and Austin was good enough to give me some help. I never did get to the bottom of the issue and then decided to do a rebuild, I now have finished the rebuild and tried it with the settings it had stored but it was no good, apart from the cold start there were issues with it bogging down, not revving and just running really lumpy so I reinstalled the software and started again.
It now runs much better and I think I'm tuning out the revving issue and it will idle ok'ish when warm but I'm still struggling with the cold start. I have taken out the prime shot -100 and added 50 fuel to 20f been up and down with these and need to ask for some advice as I'm getting myself in a muddle now.
SBF 347 AFR 195 Renegade competition heads, Comp XE282HR cam, 11-1 compression, IAC are at 7'ish
Don't have any logs at the moment as car is not legal on the road yet which is why I'm trying to sort the cold start first.

Starting takes time. And probably the hardest to get correct. Every combination is different so advice is hard to give. Logs won't show much since the O2 sensor isn't heated at start. At this point the system is in open loop. No feedback or learning.
I have often wanted to do a cranking tutorial, but have not found the process that will help everyone.
Other than Prime fuel and the temps what other settings can have an impact on cold starts that I could look into.
