Confused about initial setup

A few days ago I installed a Go EFI 2 barrel on my truck. I was a little confused about the initial setup instructions not matching what my hand held controller was showing so I asked Fitech and received a response that didn't seem to answer my questions so maybe someone here can answer this for me.

Here is what I sent them
Hi,
I emailed once before about some issues and received a response from

-Bryan in the tech department but now I have some new questions regarding the initial setup on the Go EFI 2 Barrel.

Just to let you know my truck is a ’72 Jeep J4500 with AMC 360 engine, TH400 transmission and has a Fitech 40102 Fuel pump in the fuel tank. I know very little about EFI or tuning them or pretty much any of this stuff which is one of the reasons I chose Fitech.

So now to my questions.

In the online quick start guide it tells you to go to engine setup, which I did. I entered engine size, cam, rev limit, all that but when I came to item 6 on the list the guide says that item 6 should be “Tach or 2-wire” but on my controller Item 6 is “Pump PWM low flow” and has a default setting of 80.0. Item 7 on the list is “Reset fuel learn” and has a default setting of 0. Item 8 is “Tach or 2-wire”

Since the quick start guide doesn’t say these 2 things should even be there my questions are, do I need to change the PWM low flow or the Reset fuel learn settings?

And not to be hyper critical but these things missing from the quick start guide coupled with the wrong gaskets in the box and a few other things I mentioned in my first email are not instilling a lot of confidence in your company or product.
Now maybe my email was too long or too vague or maybe I'm not too bright but I really don't think Bryan's answer actually answered my question. His answer was

Yes the instructions are used on multiple kits, so that information is irrelevant to your setup.

So I sent a new email to him in an attempt to clarify what I should do, it goes like this,

Bryan,

Thank you for responding.
Maybe I'm just not too bright but I feel you haven't addressed my question.
I understand the instructions are used on multiple kits and I've looked at the instructions for multiple kits online and every one of them says Item 6 should be “Tach or 2-wire”
Not a single one of them says item 6 should be “Pump PWM low flow”
and not a single one of them says there should even be an item 7 much less that it should be “Reset fuel learn”
In addition to that none of them say item 8 should be “Tach or 2-wire” they all say that should be item 6.

Your answer seems to indicate that you think my issue is that the hand held controller is missing these things but it is the instructions missing them and since the instructions are missing them on virtually everything I have looked at I don't understand if these settings should be left in their default settings or not.

Thank you

OK I don't have a lot of faith that Bryan is going to answer me any better than he already has so maybe someone on here can tell me if I should do anything with either of those 2 settings.
Thank you for your help.

Set your cubic inch and your cam.  If running timing control, toggle to 2 wire.  No menu on that line.  The PWM and learn reset can be understood later.

Read the handheld definitions in the Members Area.  Should help you.

I did the all of that and it runs fine, I also read all the definitions a couple times over. I guess what confused me was PWM being in initial setup but I'm currently happy with how it runs so I'll just drive it as is, let it learn and and see how I feel in a week or two.

Thank you Austin
