Dfco cut

Today I came up with strange issue when trying to hunt down my lean tip in hesitation problem. I read about dfco fuel cut and tried maybe that would effect my hesitation. I lowered fuel cut map from 28 to 18 with return map 21 from 26. I did not see any change.

Next I tried to up The value to 30/33. The strange thing is altought my map goes down to 22 when coasting my AFR goes rich down to 11-12. What I understood this function should cut The fuel so my AFR shows 20 since there are no fuel going to engine.

Have I got it wrong or is there some other setup that would yeld dcfo settings? My temp was 192 when trying this and the map enable temp is 68.

Disable the DFCO.  Not necessary and creates more issues than it is worth.  Set the enable temp to the maximum.

And as a reply to myself . DFCO works only if RPM goes above 2300. My engine never sees higher than 2200 in normal operation as this is low gear cruiser with stock cam and converter.

In the Handheld Definitions I see 4 parameters related to DFCO - Enable Temp, Cut Fuel MAP, Return MAP and Return Fuel.  Does maxing out the Enable Temp to disable DFCO automatically handle the other 3 parameters?  Or do values need to be entered for them?

Thanks.

Disabling the DFCO renders those other values ineffective.
