ECM learn temp
Fitech sets the minimum temp at 170°. During the evening (dark) when it's 95° outside, my car runs at 165° and anything below 80 outside and it runs at 154°. This is on a 496" big block Mopar w 180° thermostat, 2 row aluminum radiator, factory shroud w 19" fan. Where I live it gets 125° During the summer and operates on the highway at 174° and 195° in town driving. I'd like to have my engine warm temp at 150° so it is learning at that temp and running in closed loop, not trying to richen engine to get it to warm up. Is there someplace in the handheld to change that setting? Thanks in advance.
Update, actually got through to Fitech, "Amazing!!" I know. They said go to Pro Tuning, Breakpoints, High and set temp down. Went out and found it and got it set. Hope this helps others. Probably be great for boats running open cooling systems that never get over 160°.
