Electrical Question

I've had my Fitech on my Cobra build since last May.  Lately, I have had an issue pop up, which I don't think is Fitech, but I want to ask the group.  When I turn the key on, the fuel pump starts and pressurizes the system.  Car starts and runs fine. Great throttle response and handheld works as designed with my selected dashboard gauges.  The fun starts when I shut the key off.  It has no affect on the engine.  Doesn't hesitate and keeps right on running.  I can even hit the throttle and rev it like before I shut the key off.  I am not running CDI box and I have the Fitech controlling the timing.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to look?  I am in no way pointing the finger at the Fitech, just wondering if anyone else on this forum has had this and determined something else to be the cause.

Thank You,

Scott

Bad ignition switch?  Some how Fitech is still receiving "key on".  Install a male/female spade connector on-that-wire.  Turn off key - if engine is still running - pull the connector - engine should shut off.

Turns out it was not a bad ignition switch.  It was a bad wire job on my part.  I inadvertently hooked up the wires so that the Fitech power was staying energized.  I found the white wire was still seeing 12 volts in the off position. Once I corrected the issue, everything works as desired.  Thank You for responding with the comment about the ignition switch.  I was overlooking it from the start.
