Engine runs for 5 seconds after key is turned off.

Ok, this is weird. Using the 600hp unit, and when I go to turn off the ignition, the engine continues to run normally for 5 seconds, then it shuts down. Any ideas? Is this a setting somewhere in the handheld that I can change?

I have found an electric fan still spinning induces a small voltage and causes voltage to back feed into ignition circuit. I would look there first
