Fitech 30012 External regulator and pwm

Hello all, probably a silly question but I don't understand how the throttle body PWM sensing works.
I am setting up a 1200hp Fitech with an external regulator (Turbosmart fpr 1200), question is : Can I still use the PWM function on the Fitech inline fuel pump
The secondary fuel pump is turned on by a 1 psi boost pressure switch connected to a relay (Not using PWM) Is this feasible ?
Engine 502 cu in chevy single S-480 turbo

As long as you run the pump directly off the Orange fuel pump wire, you can use PWM. I your combination I would only slow the pump in the low flow feature. Mid flow and High flow set at 100%
