Force Fuel return line size

I am about to install a Fitech 30002 600HP system in my 1984 Chevy C10, 35o engine DUAL TANKS.
I will be using the Force Fuel 50004 for fuel delivery.
The Force Fuel system is filled by the mechanical fuel pump of the 350.
This pump is fitted with a 1/4" return line as standard.
I am going to need to use this line in the EFI system, as the dual tank setup has a tank selector valve with 1/4" return ports.
Anyone see any problem with this?
Increasing the size of the return line is not a viable option.
Do I need to plumb the return from the Force Fuel unit in addition to the return from the mechanical pump?
Can I close off the return fitting on the mechanical pump?
