Fuel Command Center 2 Regulator with 400 HP TB
I have not seen anyone post on this so I thought I would put it up for information. I am having starting issues with my Fitech it will start for about 3 seconds then die. I called Fitech and spoke to Dominick who told me the 400 HP system should have an input of 43 PSI not the 58-60 that the FFC2 puts out. He told me to switch the regulator from the FFC2 and the throttle body. Sure enough after I did this the FCC2 was putting out 43 PSI. It did not fix my idle issue, but he said I would have had trouble with this after a while. I do not know if anyone else is running this setup and having issues, just wanted to put this info up for others. I have sent my unit back to Fitech as nothing they have suggested worked so far. Put the old carb on and truck runs great. So frustrated.
You will never see me endorse the FCC or an inline fuel pump. They cause more issues than the Fitech itself. But, the Fitech always gets blamed.....
I have the same setup and was told to switch the regulators as well. Mine is working well.
