Fuel cutting on takeoff and final gear

New to the group. I have an 89 IrocZ camaro with a 383 stroker and the easy street 600hp system. My biggest issues of course come with tuning. The car runs good, but leaves a lot to be desired. I find that it stumbles on takeoff, and most of all falls out in my final gear. I’ve done the initial setup as far as cam and cubic inches, other than that, haven’t really played with controls. Any help is appreciated.

Some simple steps here.  I am going to assume your initial setup and fuel pressure are good.  Stumbling on acceleration is the same as tuning your Accel Pump on a carb.  If it goes lean, you increase the fuel.  If it goes rich, your decrease the fuel.  On Fitech you have two levels, Accel and Fast Accel.  Accel is for normal to medium throttle changes and Fast Accel for fast throttle changes.  You can ready more in the Handheld Discriptions.

Go to Display Settings and enable Pro Tuning, this will get you the tuning menus you need.  Adjust Accel first.  Get your light to mid throttle changes set before adjusting fast Accel.  Get engine warmed up and show the Large AFR gauge.  Drive the car and create the stumble.  AFR will either go rich (number goes down) or lean (number goes up)  then immediately try to adjust and go the other way.  If it goes rich reduce the Accel number in the engine temp range you are running.  If it goes lean, increase the number.  Small steps only.  Don't chase the tune.  This should get you started.

Not sure what your final gear issue is.  Need you to post a short datalog of that issue.  You can post a link here using Dropbox or Cloud.
