fuel delivery parts source/recommendations
Quote from NavyVet on July 1, 2019, 1:20 pmWhat is the best/most economical source for -6 fittings, 340 lph filter, and 3/8 fuel line? Looking for retail sources as well as part recommendations.
Do push-lok fittings work well at 58 psi?
I have a 68 Chevelle 496 4 speed. Setting up a Meanstreet 30008, Hyperfuel 47028 tank/kit (340 lph in-tank regulated to 58psi).
Thanks.

If you don't have a return line, buy a replacement feed line for your car. Use it as the return. Much easier than trying to bend a return line.

GoEFI #30001 on a 1975 Ford 302 with FiTech frame mounted fuel pump. Every time I remove the gas cap I find extreme vapor pressure. There is no EVAP purge kit installed. I assume this is the problem especially since the 28 gallon gas tank has no baffles.
Is there a kit available from FiTech or others with installation instructions?
This is installed in a 1956 Ford Ranchwagon.

Hello David.I don't know if you still have your problem but tank venting is the fix.the cheap fix is a vented cap,the other is a vent hose routed higher than the fill cap[with a check ball fitting in the end].tank baffles reduce fuel slosh-not pressure issues.modern evap systems vent the tank while routing vapers into the engine.I hope this helps.
