Fuel pressure issues

I have a Go Street 400 with FiTech in-line fuel pump. At idle my fuel pressure gauge shows 38psi. On applying throttle the pressure rises to 60psi. I believe the pressure should be 43psi. The pump pwm is set at 50. I have replaced the Chinese fuel pressure regulator with a Bosch 3 bar one, but nothing has changed. The car runs really well, may be it is a faulty pressure gauge?

Mine runs at about 37 psi, tried 2 gauges and 2 fuel pumps, decided that if it runs ok it's not a problem.
