G-Surge duel pump resivior wiring
I am running the fitech dual 1200 hp power adder with the g-surge dual pump reservoir,, one set of instruction for the g-surge says to wire in a relay.. the fitech power adder instructions says relay not needed,, will the fitech run both of those 340 gph pumps or does in in fact need to be on a relay
To be safe wire those pumps on a relay. I don't see how the fitech could handle that much amp draw.
To my understanding, the Fitech internal relay is only capable of running one 340gph pump. So 2 is out of the question. Yet another lack of clear instructions. I guess that's why I started this site..
outstanding, question asked and problem solved ,, glad I asked because I did have it initially wired to a relay and I was reading the destructions, and it said relay not required, so I decided to remove it to try and keep as little as possible in the engine compartment, so ill put it back in,, but is the pump wire and fan 1 wire both 12 volt signal, I believe they are again the destructions don't say if they are ground signal, or 12 v positive signal, I had them both wired to a relay as positive signal is this correct.
Fuel pump wire (Orange) is 12v positive. The fan wire (Yellow) is a ground for fan relay.
