Handheld with arrows?
I swear if I’d known I would have to yet buy another damn part just to get something else to work correctly, I think I should have just walked away from this money pit. WELL NOW, I seem to have the “OLD” handheld controller with NO arrows. So how do I get the one I now need to upgrade the software? I just want to drive this dam truck instead of busting out another thousand dollars just to find out I need another one right afterwards. Please excuse my rant. I’m getting fed up trying to keep up.
You may not need a new controller to upgrade the software.
I have just got around to installing some kit I bought new in 2016.
Specifically:
- throttle body 3003 GoStreet 400 HP without timing control
- handheld with no arrow markings around joystick and 195O version software
Just last week I emailed FiTech directly on the subject of update software for the above and they got back to me within a day and then provided instructions and a dropbox link to a new set of files to suit that handheld.
The email I used was info@fitechefi.com
One thing I would advise is that before doing any software updating, back up all the files currently on your handheld.
