Help! Erased my map, default settings question.
Well, my truck has been having some running issues, and to figure out if it was the Fitech or something else, I decided I'd put a base map into it and see how it ran after that. Well, me being an idiot, I didn't save my good tune before I did this. I cannot tell you how mad I was.....anyway, so I went down and installed the default V8 settings. I know I'm going to have to go back through the initial set-up again, and I can remember where I had all my accelerator pump and fast accel settings. My question is: Everything in the default map is set to zero right now. The Crank Fuels, Afterstart, Accelerator Pump, Fast Accel. Everything. Is this how the tune came from the factory? If not, what are the correct baseline settings to get it started? As I said, this is the default V8 map in my system, just wondering if this is how it is actually supposed to be for initial start up again. Thanks for your time!

Yep, that is default. 0.0 does not mean nothing. It means it is set to default amounts. You go positive or negative from there.
So it should fire with them all set at 0?

Yes. Zero means the default file has not been changed. Fitech built a v8 file with a mild cam 350. That is the default file you load in the beginning. If your engine likes more or less of any adjustment, you add or subtract from the base file or zero in this situation.
Thanks Austin. Appreciate your time very much and all the help you give. Getting info from Fitech is like pulling teeth. I always try them first so as not to be a nuisance, but after 2 days I give up and post here.
