How to replace TPS

I am trying to replace the TPS on my Fitech but cannot get the new one to line up the slot with the throttle . Any tricks to aligning the sensor slot and the throttle blade that should go inside? I am trying to install it on the car as it looked pretty simple but not having much luck.

Got it installed. What PIA for such a simple part - not sure why, maybe it was just me.
