Killed my handheld

I accidentally plugged the USB connector into my Android phone. OH S$!&@! Phone no longer would connect to Android Auto in any of my cars. (At least I needed to upgrade my phone)
Handheld no longer comes on. I bought a new # 62014 cable but still nothing. I'm suspect of the cable I received as the package was open and cable re- coiled and tied.
EFI still works but I'm in the dark. Any ideas?

You may have fried the ECU with your phone. Only way to confirm is to try your handheld on a car that works or try a different handheld.
