Maximizing Performance

Once the system is running good and has a few hundred miles on it what are some things you can do to maximize performance without have timing control?

I like the way its running now besides having to start it a couple times when cold, just always looking to be better. Fixing the cold start issue would be nice as well

I am working on a "sticky" for cold start tuning.  This has been a hot topic this winter.

One thing you can do is AFR tuning to the plugs.  Your O2 sensor is not calibrated to your particular exhaust system, so it is only good for reference.  For idle AFR you can tune using vacuum or exhaust sound similar to tuning idle mixture screws on a Carb.

Ultimately, you could tune on a steady state dyno.  This is how the top tuners get one dialed in.

I guess it depends on the tuner for how many pulls you would need. Ive thought about it, maybe in tbe spring

As far as adjusting AGR, Im assuming im just reading the plugs to see if its rich or lean. Same as a carb idle AGR id shoot for max vac? How many different AGR settings are there?
