Mid throttle "whistling sound"?
Any one else notice that when the throttle is applied hard, you get a whistling sound through about half throttle and on??
Almost sounds like a vacuum leak, but all my ports are plugged. I am not using vacuum for anything including brakes.
It seems to accel ok just makes funny noise.

Maybe your air cleaner causing the issue. Try driving the car without the air cleaner to see if the noise goes away.
I actually noticed it the first time I drove it and the air cleaner wasn't installed yet.

I assume it makes the noise also with the air cleaner on? The noise maybe normal as when you are hard throttling, it is going to draw in much more air quickly. I think I know the noise you are hearing as I have heard that sound with various carbs I tried threw the years and the noise was there only when hard throttling.
Yeah, it does it either way.
Fitech support says it is the IAC opening up?
